Job Description

“Required Skill Set:

• Database Design & Development:1. Design, develop, and optimize MongoDB and SQL-based databases to ensure scalability and performance.2. Develop and manage data models, ensuring efficient schema design and indexing strategies.3. Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to process and transform data between different systems.4. Optimize database queries and indexing for high-performance transactions and analytics.5. Develop data mapping solutions for integration between multiple data sources.

• Caching & Performance Optimization:1. Implement Redis caching for improving query performance and reducing database load.2. Fine-tune database performance, replication, and partitioning strategies.3. Ensure database availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery strategies.4. Monitor and troubleshoot bottlenecks, slow queries, and indexing issues.

• Data Processing & Integration:1. Design and implement data pipelines for real-time and batch processing.2. Work with ETL tools to clean, transform, and migrate data across platforms.3. Collaborate with developers to integrate databases with Node.js applications and APIs.4. Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and compliance with business requirements.

• Security & Maintenance:1. Implement data security best practices, including encryption, user authentication, and access controls.2. Perform database backups, migrations, and restorations.3. Conduct regular database audits to ensure compliance with data governance standards.4. Develop and maintain documentation for database architecture, schemas, and queries.

Desired Skill Set:

• NodeJS, Understanding of data partitioning, indexing strategies, and query optimization.

• Knowledge of NoSQL vs. SQL trade-offs for different use cases.
