“Required Skills

· Knowledge of Sybase and DB2 RDBMSs, with a strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, etc.

· Ability to create high-quality and optimized stored procedures.

· Solid knowledge of query performance tuning, appropriate use of indices, database statistics or reorganization, and denormalization concepts.

· Strong Python and Unix or Linux scripting skills.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle.

· Knowledge of software development best practices.

· An interest in learning application-based activities.”
