Job Description
The Work
Lead Oracle TRCS engagements from strategy through execution, including current-state assessments, benchmarking, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
Drive tax process transformation across multiple jurisdictions, addressing regulatory compliance (e.g., U.S. GAAP, IFRS) and evolving global frameworks such as GILTI, Pillar Two, and BEPS.
Architect and implement end-to-end tax and finance processes, integrating Oracle TRCS with ERP and EPM systems, leveraging best practices in tax provision, automation, and reporting.
Provide strategic tax technology advisory, aligning tax function goals with digital finance strategies to optimize data flow, transparency, and audit readiness.
Engage with senior client stakeholders, including CFOs, Tax Directors, and IT leaders, to define solution roadmaps and deliver impactful business outcomes.
Lead cross-functional teams across finance, tax, and technology, managing multiple workstreams through the full systems development lifecycle (SDLC).
Serve as a project leader and subject matter expert, ensuring high-quality deliverables, risk management, and budget adherence.
Support business development activities, including RFP responses, proposals, client workshops, and internal capability building.
Here’s What You Need
Minimum of 7 years of working knowledge and expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud Applications
Minimum of 7 years of experience implementing one the following: Oracle Cloud Tax Reporting, and/or Narrative Reporting
Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax technology and, leading Oracle TRCS, preferably in a professional services firm
Minimum of 1 year of experience leading complex tax technology programs within large enterprise or multinational environments and successfully completed two full lifecycle EPM Tax Reporting implementations
Minimum of 1 year of experience with U.S. and international tax principles, including GILTI, BEAT, Pillar Two, Subpart F, and ASC 740 tax provision.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6 year work experience.
Bonus Points
You have a Finance or Accounting degree
You have a solid understanding of the Finance function specifically US & International taxation and supporting organization structures, and process best practices
You have significant engagement management as well as business, practice, and people development
You have experience leading a project and leading a project team of at least 5+ resources
You have a demonstrated ability to clearly and effectively communicate with clients, document requirements, and articulate the value proposition and business case for finance solutions
You have demonstrated ability to lead key requirements and design workshops with clients
You have a proven ability to collaborate with the client in an agile manner leveraging design thinking approaches
You have knowledge in Controllership processes including technical accounting (GAAP/IFRS standards), accounting operations, month-end close, consolidations, and reporting
You have a MBA and/or CPA license
