Job Description

“As the Alberta Health Services Care Manager, you will be based out of the La Crete Community Health Centre and report to the Site and Seniors Manager for Fort Vermilion and La Crete. You will be responsible and accountable for Required Qualifications:
Three to five years in a health care provider role and a minimum of one year working in a leadership capacity. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) or an applicable healthcare related education or background. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. providing the direction, leadership and organization to Ambulatory Care, Continuing Care and Homecare services. You will plan, deliver and provide oversight of health services for these areas, in support of the vision, mission and business plan of Alberta Health Services. You will make key decisions regarding the integration of various resources to ensure effective delivery of health services within the facility and community. This position is responsible and accountable for making front line unit-level decisions and having direct leadership responsibility for contributing to the achievement of the goals of the departments. You will provide support and counsel to the Director, Area 1- North Zone and management team on all aspects of related services within the designated geographic area.”
