“What you’ll do
As the Head of Engineering, Product AI within the Central AI organization, you will guide efforts to develop and deploy high-quality, reliable, and impactful AI solutions across Atlassian’s products and platforms. You will manage a team focused on advancing technology solutions, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic objectives and product roadmap. Your role is pivotal in driving innovation, maintaining AI quality standards, and fostering collaboration across teams to deliver transformative AI experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading a science and development team working on AI features across Atlassian products, such as Jira and Confluence.
Improving the quality of productivity features by optimizing models and prompts, while ensuring trust, safety, and readiness for enterprise use.
Overseeing self-hosted model training and prompt engineering for compliance with standards like HIPAA, FedRAMP, and other enterprise requirements.
Ensuring Atlassian’s AI solutions can operate reliably and with high quality at scale.
