Key Responsibilities and Skills
The key responsibilities of this role are:
Work with top-tier Disputes Commercial & Construction Group professionals that help clients navigate significant situations
Play a critical role in assisting our lawyers with matters relating to all aspects of commercial, construction and estate litigation
Participate in preparing for hearings, arbitration, mediation, document production, examinations for discovery, pre-trial and trial and assist with managing large, complex matters
Prepare legal documents including pleadings, application materials, contracts, mediation briefs, lists of documents, and bills of costs
Be responsible for matter management and data management, including scoping and budgeting
Contribute as an important member of a collaborative team and provide an unwavering commitment to delivering excellent client service
Key Competencies
What you will bring to this role:
Relevant working experience as a paralegal with a focus on commercial and construction litigation
Strong knowledge and understanding of the Supreme Court Civil Rules
A graduate of a recognized paralegal certificate or degree program or equivalent
Knowledge of iManage, ACL, Relativity, Kofax Power PDF, Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Initiative and expertise to drive highly effective file management and seek direction when appropriate
High level organization and time management skills
A strong work ethic with a collaborative and growth mindset

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 – $80,000, depending on level of experience, region/location, and other factors.
