Role Description:
• Must be an excellent senior resource with an ability to solve problems Co-ordinate with team and share the status.
Required Skill Set:
• Strong understanding of structured and unstructured data and Oracle relational DB
• Experience in data handling and analysis to support building new reports and modifying existing ones
• Experience in reviewing Database (DB) migration requirements and analyzing source data models and legacy database platforms
• Experience in development, validation and maintenance of large, enterprise class applications leveraging Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
• Experience in authoring DB schemas, creation of entity relationship models, creation of optimized DML and DDL scripts, data loading
• Proficient in development and troubleshooting SQL/PL-SQL queries, functions, stored procedures, packages et al
• Experience in fine tuning and optimizing DB SQL and PL SQL queries & procedures to address data load and data quality issues
• Experience in development and enhancements of DataMart in OLAP schemas
• Experience in integration of enterprise applications (Java, .NET, HTML, Angular) and Servers with DB, JDBC/JNDI conn ectivity
• Exposure to Data warehousing concepts, SSIS, SSRS, ETL/reporting tools integrations, banking are good to have
• Exposure to Agile development and bug tracking tools like JIRA.
• Good communication and update the status to Senior management.
Desired Skill Set:
• Design and development of SQL/PL-SQL queries, functions, stored procedures, packages
• Implementation and Roll-out of on DB migration programs
• Setup and configure new Oracle DB schemas and perform data load; create and implement ER models
• Perform optimization and tuning of SQL/PL-SQL queries, packages, stored procedures, functions etc.
• Create DML/DDL scripts for data load, issue fixes etc
• Profile DB server usage, optimize and implement improvements wherever applicable.
• Support application development teams to create and maintain enterprise applications.
• Mentoring junior developers in the team and identify opportunities for product improvements, implementation of best practices et al.
• Work on application troubleshooting, perform root cause analysis as well as address identified issues
• Track the project status, issues, risks, and updates timely with senior leadership.
