Job Description

Design, develop, and implement complex control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial networks, to support automotive manufacturing processes.
Define control system requirements, develop functional specifications, and design system architectures for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Program and configure control systems using Siemens S7, TIA Portal, and Simotion to optimize performance and efficiency.
Conduct testing and validation of control systems through simulation, emulation, and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex control system issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate control systems with production equipment, robotics, vision systems, and other automation technologies.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to colleagues, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development in controls engineering.
Conduct electrical feasibility studies for new equipment and lead the integration of new products on existing production lines.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations (CSA, UL, IEC, etc.), participating in PSHSR reviews for equipment safety validation.
Support the execution of factory automation, MES, and IoT projects to enhance production capabilities.
