Job Description
“The Work:
Depending on the client engagement, the Clinical Information System Implementation Consultant will be responsible for supporting an Accenture team, CIS vendor team, and/or client in the following areas:
Demonstrated core consulting skills/experience including meeting facilitation, critical thinking, data analysis, using PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, etc.
Assist in developing the Clinical Information System (CIS) project planning, including solution, scope, estimates, contingency, costs, schedule, delivery model, resource/sourcing plan, assumptions, and risks.
Work with delivery leads to ensure alignment with Accenture Delivery Methods for CIS solutions.
Facilitate the solution design, configuration, and validation in an implementation support role for CIS solutions.
Demonstrate CIS expertise by proactively identifying and addressing client operational and/or technical challenges.
Proactively manage client and Accenture risks and quality assurance improvement initiatives.
Work with other CIS vendor Solution Consultants and Accenture Delivery Teams to develop assets and accelerators to assist future clients with CIS implementations, migrations, optimizations, and/or other related developments.
Other duties as assigned. This work may include implementation, optimization, and the development and execution of CIS-adjacent projects.
Qualifications
Here is what you need:
Healthcare IT/Clinical Information System Experience:
Minimum of 3 years work experience in Healthcare IT and/or Consulting.
Clinical background an asset
Consulting or systems integrator experience with Clinical Information Systems solutions, or clinical healthcare organization experience using CIS solutions.
Proficient in leading teams through the CIS project lifecycle, inclusive but not limited to planning, designing and building, testing, training and optimizing CIS solutions.
Preferred experience in implementing CIS solutions in a complex or multi-site Information Systems environment.
Demonstrates workflow, solution-specific, and project management knowledge for a CIS.
Educational and Location Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (3-5 years) work experience.
Prior Canadian Healthcare experience/knowledge preferred.
Project Management Professional preferred.
Hybrid work location; travel is expected per the terms of the contract.
English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company’s activities to avoid this requirement.
