Job Description
“One engineer to cover both locations as needed.
Saturday and Sunday (16 hours total)
2nd shift – 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Provide backup coverage for vacations and absences.
Locations:
601 Experian Parkway, Allen, TX 75013
3400 S. Stonebridge Dr, McKinney, TX 75070.
Provide onsite engineers for Customer requested requirements as follows:
a. Uses hardware tools as well as hand tools to install and de-install equipment.
b. Configuring servers to enable network access for engineers.
c. Provides on call support for IT equipment.
d. Running hardware diagnostics and replacing failing parts in a timely manner.
e. Upgrading internal system components, including CPUs, memory, hard drives, and network
cables.
f. Capable of installing multiple ethernet & fiber optic cables.
g. Coordinate troubleshooting with on-site teams and hardware vendors as needed.
h. Removes bad/obsolete cables from underneath the raised floor without impacting ongoing
business operations.
i. Maintain inventory of IT equipment.
j. Maintains the loading docks and other storage areas by organizing equipment until ready to be
installed.
k. Performs all activities in strict compliance with Change Management and InfoSec
policies.
l. Prepares for secure hardware disposal by taking inventory of failed hard drives, outdated
servers and other obsoletes.
