Job Description

“Onsite Systems Administrator Tallahassee, FL

Must be residing in FL
Start Date – ASAP
Long term contract 18+ months
Qualifications

5 years’ experience with enterprise class Windows Server system design and administration, including the proactive monitoring of system environments and problem resolution, user support, system application support, operating system (OS) support, hardware/software system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
5 years’ experience managing and supporting systems using various scripting languages including Microsoft PowerShell.
2. 5 years’ experience as an enterprise administrator in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory domain infrastructure.
3. 5 years’ experience administering Microsoft Exchange or Exchange online.
5 years’ experience administering VMWare and management of systems on the VMWare platform.
2 years’ experience designing, implementing, and administering Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS cloud solutions.

Formal Scope of Work Responsibilities

Design, install, maintain, and document all server and cloud platform requirements in an enterprise scale Microsoft Azure Active Directory cloud platform as directed by the Department.
These duties include but are not limited to: system administration, server maintenance, monthly patching, daily monitoring, error tracking, issue remediation and change control.
Perform proactive daily monitoring for high availability, system data protection, central authentication, user account management, disk storage management, hardware and OS maintenance, and application maintenance for all platforms serviced by the Enterprise Cloud Support Team, as directed by the Department.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues reported by customers, system administrators, and support teams daily as directed by the Department.
Provide technical expertise to users, management, vendors, and peers for issues involving other Department business offices and vendors daily as directed by the Department.
Provide documented resolutions to Service Desk and Change Management tickets, daily, as directed by the Department.”
