RESPONSIBILITIES
Generate work plans, NCR’s (non-compliance reports), operations of production.
Manage calibration and certification records of tools, MGSE and EGSE.
Provide technical and engineering assistance to team of technicians.
Complete process improvements to increase efficiency of production.
Manage test equipment such as TVAC, Vibe, thermal chambers.
Prepare and review procurement and process documentation for production processes.
Create spacecraft assembly kits for rapid production.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical engineering or related field and 1 year of experience with production of complex hardware, preferably space hardware.
Experience with PLM, MES, configuration and data management controls and systems.
Experience working to AS9100 process and standards.
Experience with space productions and complex assembly engineering.
Experience building and producing classified hardware in SCIF’s or SAP facilities.
COMPENSATION
Base Salary: $65,000-$90,000
Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Work Location—this role will be an onsite position based out of our Gravity Works office in Denver.
Work environment—the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person’s working conditions while performing the job.
Physical demands—the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving. “
