Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Strategic Communications & Reporting Lead to support our Production Engineering and Technology Operations teams. This role will lead the development of compelling PowerPoint presentations and executive dashboards that reflect team performance, identify operational bottlenecks, and support audit readiness and strategic planning.

You will work closely with technical leads to curate inputs, build structured narratives, and design professional visual assets that communicate complex data in a meaningful and actionable way. The ideal candidate has strong storytelling skills, a data-driven mindset, and a passion for operational transparency.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Executive Communications & Visual Storytelling

Create professional, polished PowerPoint presentations for leadership meetings, town halls, audit reviews, and program updates.
Translate raw updates and technical content from engineers into structured narratives and storyboards.
Highlight key accomplishments, challenges, and improvement areas through impactful visuals and infographics.
2. Operational Reporting & Performance Analysis

Analyze production support metrics, including incident trends, change success rates, RCA progress, automation metrics, and intake throughput.
Identify patterns and gaps in operational efficiency and collaborate with teams to visualize these insights.
Structure periodic reports that show trends over time and align with strategic goals.
3. Dashboard & Template Design

Build wireframes/mockups for dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar platforms.
Standardize report templates for recurring metrics (weekly/monthly reviews).
Define and visualize KPIs around incidents, changes, service requests, platform stability, and control adherence.
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Process Transparency

Collaborate with tech leads, DBAs, app support teams, and compliance teams to collect timely, accurate updates.
Establish a reporting cadence and content library for easy reuse and audit traceability.
Support control tracking and audit evidence packaging through structured presentations and metrics.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in IT operations, reporting, business analysis, or executive communications
Strong proficiency in PowerPoint with proven experience designing executive decks
Exposure to production support environments (incident/change/RCA workflows)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interpret data and build compelling visual stories from operational metrics
Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira) and BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in working with Platform Engineering or DevOps teams
Knowledge of audit/compliance reporting and KPI tracking
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple reporting timelines
Exposure to tools like Confluence, Excel macros, Python (basic scripting for data cleanup or automation)
