Job Description

“Key Responsibilities:

You will collaborate with the Security and DevOps teams to maintain security controls and operation of production systems.
You will contribute to the delivery of Accenture’s cloud security offerings, including the development and enforcement of security governance (policies and procedures), and implementation of security requirements outlined in project SOWs, including controls related to Cloudflare (WAF, Zero Trust) and Lexis Nexis (DDP Platform).
Additionally, you will work closely with internal Accenture teams and client workstreams (e.g., Tech, DevOps, OCM, QA, PMO) and support ad-hoc client requests.
Ensure seamless operation of production systems by maintaining security measures and proactive risk mitigation strategies
Provide proactive and efficient support to application teams during security incidents, troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuity.
Oversee the deployment and management of vulnerability scanning tools, including Splunk, Tanium, Qualys, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) to identify and address risks.
Apply advanced analytical skills to assess and prioritize security vulnerabilities, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational objectives.
Lead the successful delivery and ongoing maintenance of cloud security projects, including implementing solutions like Cloudflare, Guacamole RDP, while balancing operational requirements across teams.
Log, track, and monitor remediation tasks, prioritizing them based on risk and ensuring timely resolution by responsible system owners.
Manage and approve role updates across cloud infrastructures, ensuring compliance with security policies and principles of least privilege.
Prepare and present detailed reports and updates to stakeholders and clients on vulnerability status, remediation efforts, and project outcomes.
Contribute to the identification, development, and deployment of security solutions, effectively translating risk insights into actionable strategies.
Design, build, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure environments with a focus on automation and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
Lead smoke testing procedures to validate the effectiveness of configured security policies.
Lead the remediation of cloud infrastructure vulnerabilities and apply critical patches across AWS servers, including Windows, MacOS, and Linux environments.
Participate in testing of web-based and mobile applications, employing both manual and automated methods to validate security controls.
Provide technical support to team members across onshore and offshore locations, fostering collaboration and productivity.
Participate in the deployment of mobile application code to cloud servers, ensuring stability and efficiency.
Active involvement in end-to-end Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, InnerSource, and AWS pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
Execute upgrades and deployments for Elastic Kubernetes Services (EKS) and Bot services, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Apply remediation measures to address vulnerabilities and offer recommendations for improvement.
Install software for environment build-out and apply patches to address vulnerabilities that have been identified.

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years in cybersecurity, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and threat detection
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree
Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proficient in Cloudflare and LexisNexis security solutions, and familiarity with different cloud platforms.
Strong understanding of vulnerability management processes, and cybersecurity best practices.
Proficient in Windows, Mac, and Linux OS
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation, deployment, and analysis.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cloudflare Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE), and Cloudflare Accredited Services Architect (ASA) are highly desirable.
Strong ability to solve complex problems and think critically under pressure.
