Job Description

“As an Infrastructure Development Specialist, you will make an impact by ensuring that the technology infrastructure supporting patient care and healthcare services is robust, reliable, and secure. Your expertise in Python and SQL will directly contribute to building scalable, high-performing systems that healthcare professionals and patients depend on daily. By driving automation, optimizing system reliability, and enhancing data security, you’ll help optimize operations, reduce downtime, and improve the quality of our systems. You will be a valued member of our Infrastructure practice and work collaboratively with our Delivery Manager.

In this role, you will
Build and optimize infrastructure solutions using SQL and Python to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability.
Coordinate with diverse teams to identify technical opportunities and implement practical, forward-thinking solutions.
Manage infrastructure health, resolution issues, and maintain high availability across environments.
Automate processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort across systems.
Mentor and support team members on IT initiatives and encourage compliance to standard methodologies.
Ensure infrastructure aligns with internal security protocols and industry compliance standards.
Lead all aspects of performance evaluations of existing systems and proactively suggest optimizations.
Contribute to code reviews, helping maintain consistent quality and functionality.
Build and maintain clear documentation to support knowledge transfer and operational continuity.
Stay ahead of trends by exploring new technologies and standard methodologies to improve infrastructure strategy.
Assist in planning for prioritization to meet business and project needs.
What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)
A proven track record of 5 or more years in infrastructure engineering or a similar technical role.
Proficiency in SQL for data querying, optimization, and system management.
Hands-on experience with Python for scripting, automation, and process development.
Outstanding understanding of system architecture, integration, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools and diagnostic practices.
Awareness of infrastructure security principles and regulatory standards.
Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively across diverse teams.
