Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

● Perform manual data entry and configuration to supplement tools and automated systems. Be able to divide focus between delivering superior short term results and building for the future.

● Assist in configuring Heartland Restaurant new customer accounts.

● Provide technical support and training to customers to resolve product-related issues in the areas of product implementation and data manipulation. Create resources to improve efficiency of technical support, such as Help Center content.

● Troubleshoot and report bugs as needed, especially for scripts and migration tools.

● Provide technical project management, training, on-site implementation, and go-live services as needed.

● Provide feedback to the product team. Strike the right balance between providing short-term technical troubleshooting and working with the product team to influence more scalable product-based solutions.

Requirements

● Experience using, supporting or implementing a Restaurant POS system. Extensive experience with data entry in another software platform may substitute.

● Technical and analytical orientation, including ability to accurately enter data, configure systems according to specs, and flawlessly execute multi-step processes. Familiarity with basic computer networking and web tech.

● Project management skills applicable to both internal and external projects.

● Demonstrated enthusiasm for the subject matter. You should be excited by the idea of learning to manipulate datasets with code. You should enjoy overcoming technological obstacles.

● Strong service and people orientation. You will need to correspond with customers for all manner of setup, troubleshooting, analysis, project management, and customer service reasons.

● Knowledge of various platforms; Windows, macOS, iOS, Android
